The spirit of Nuit St Georges is fully reflected in this lively cafe! I had the set menu with salad at the start, an absolute delight if a Coq au vin, and local cheese, nice soft and delicious, all so perfect! The wine could not be anything other than the Nuit St George, fabulous full bodied Pinot noir, round, bouquet of sweetest prunes, to die for! Highly recommend will come back xx thank you!!!
Food is excellent and the service is great...I had a fantastic experience at Cafe du centre ! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. A special shoutout to Ankith and Jean-Baptiste at the service their friendly attitude and attention to detail really elevated the evening.....The food, was top-notch by Chef Basavaraj, was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully plated And everything was flawless. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to my friends and family!
Our company of four had a nice lunch at Café du Centre in the lovely village Nuits-Saint-Georges. We all opted for the lunch menu, which did not disappoint. The service was friendly and efficient and we did not had to wait long before our meal got served. The dishes were simple, but very tasty. We loved the cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. And of course we enjoyed drinking an excellent glass of wine with our meal. When in Bourgogne...
Good spot for lunch, right in the middle of town. We had the beef burgundy, croque monsieur, and a great bottle of wine. Service was spot on. Definitely recommend if you are in Nuits-St-Georges at lunch time.
Realy nice place to eat if you visit Nuits-Saint-George. The staff is nice, food is good and very affordable. Watch out for the bees as they come flying arround the food as soon as they bring it to you.
Ate and drank here last night. As a couple of none speaking French pair, we were very impressed by the lovely young member of staff who was very patient with us and helped us with our food and drinks orders. My husband chose the beef bourgeon with pasta and I chose the bacon and cheddar burger. Both dishes absolutely superb. We ordered a glass of the local red and it was very good, however in hindsight we should have opted for a bottle as at €8 per 125ml it would have worked out cheaper. Ambiance In restaurant was wonderful and lots of locals appeared to dine here too, which is always a good sign. Thank you to the staff who helped us out. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We stopped here for lunch and to get out of a rainstorm. The welcome we received (despite being wet with bike bags and grouchy) was topped only by the thoughtfully prepared food, cheerfully shared. We all got the menu of the day, and heartily urge you to do the same. We continued our bike trip in good spirits, completely restored by our time here. My young son cannot wait to return, and I agree.
